Mid-September…

…and you’ve yet to see a football post!  This part of college football is the most boring, where all of the big teams steamroll the little guys.   As most of you may know, OU did it’s part in rolling over Miami last weekend like they were a high school team,  comparable to the actual high school team they played the Saturday before. 

Yes, the Sooners played well, but it made for quite a boring game.  (Did you see that touchdown?  … Nudge, nudge, wake up over there!)   We face another tough test this weekend with Utah State, coming in favored by 64 points.  Sigh…can we get to the good stuff?

Like the Nebraska v. USC game?  That’ll be one of the very few games worth watching (hopefully!).  The university of spoiled children is favored, but I’d really like to see Nebraska play them tough.  Not that the Big 12 North is worth much of anything this year, but at least if Nebraska shows themselves a worthy opponent it may help the Big 12 gain a little more respect.  I’ll be cheering my heart out for those ‘Huskers this time.
