Full of beans

A mass marketing e-mail arrived in the inbox of several people here at work.  It was an e-mail from a competitor touting their new product.  It went a little like this (okay, so it went exactly like this):

“Dear sir,

It’s my honor to get your company web on the net.
We are specialized in producing Hyaluronic acid in China.
And we have been in this line of business for more than eight years.
It can divides into cosmetic grade, food grade,Pharma grade and sodium
hyaluronate solution.
All of our products are produced according to GMP/EP standard.
I can assure you that you’ll find very good prospects in our products.
And I will supply you with the lowest price.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards.
Yours,
Jerry(Manager)”

My ever industrious co-worker went quickly to the site listed to check it out.  Here was his response to the rest of us via e-mail:

“According to their website, one of the benefits of oral HA is that it “can make one full of beans and be rich in youth energy.”  We might want to add that to our bargaining platform for the value of bulk HA.  Who can put a price on being full of beans?”

Because really, how can you put a price on being full of beans?

And no, our product has nothing to do with beans.  Nothing.

  1. Huh?

  2. OMW. There are no words. People are so stupid.

  3. uummmm…this sounds innovative!

  4. HMMMM, sounds like someone is full of beans! That was kinda funny!

  5. I wonder if China’s “full of beans” means the same thing that it does around here in my household….personally, it doesn’t make me particularly happy considering that I’m surrounded and outnumbered by boys.

  6. How completely off the wall.

  7. Don’t let Philip eat any HA if it will make him full of beans…. this could result in an evacuation of the research park when people begin to notice a strange sulfur-like odor permeating every building!
